Closer Look: Building up to a Suitable Time

In the lead-up to central government announcements on the economy this year, analysts anticipated an easing on credit restrictions – a roundup of recent adjustments

(Beijing) – While expectations ran high that there would be a significant relaxation on recent credit policies, Premier Wen Jiabao reiterated the government's stance of gradual adjustments. At a State Council meeting October 29, Wen said China will fine-tune its macroeconomic policies according to an appropriate schedule.
