Bo Xilai and Equal Justice
April 10 marked a historic day in China. The state-run media outlet Xinhua News Agency announced that the Chinese Communist Party suspended Bo Xilai from party posts and his wife was under investigation for murder. "Comrade Bo Xilai is suspected of involvement in serious disciplinary violations," Xinhua reported at 11 p.m. that evening.
Astonishment rolled across the country as the public considered the latest revelations and the invocation of the law over Bo Xilai.
