Hu Shuli's PhD Program |

Ms. Hu Shuli, professor and PhD supervisor at Sun Yat-Sen University, is looking for candidates for the doctoral public media management(公共传媒管理)program. Applicants from home and abroad will be required to take an entrance examination for the doctoral program held by the university in March and final round interviews will be conducted in April. Two candidates will be selected for the three-year program starting in September this year. Requisite experience for the application can be found on the Sun Yat-sen University's graduate admissions website. Applicants are required to hold a master's degree, or, have earned a bachelor's degree and have published at least three academic papers in related fields, and have scored no less than 70 points (out of 100) for four major subjects or over in a current master's program. Additionally, Ms. Hu has set three additional entry requirements: >>Candidates have outstanding achievements in journalism and communication studies; >>Candidates have a desire and demonstrated ability to pursue journalism and communication studies, have an intellectual curiosity for communication theory and are committed contributing to the advancement of the journalism in China; >>Adequate command of Chinese and English is required.
